4. Behind the Scenes of Bag Manufacturing
The bag making process of plastic bags
The bag-making process is the last step in the production of plastic bags. This is also the final inspection process, including the handling of complaints related to film sheet rolls, so it is a very important process. Even though the bags are produced in an excellent environment, if they become contaminated or fail inspection during this process, it will be completely meaningless.
However, in many cases, the main process is actually carried out by subcontractors, and many of these companies are small-scale or home-based, making it difficult to maintain the production environment perfectly.
In addition, since sales are based on the processing fee per sheet, and the processing fee per sheet is around 10¢, profitability can only be improved by increasing the number of sheets produced. In short, manufacturers aim to improve productivity as much as possible and pursue speed.
This has a negative impact on the stability of the seals. Basically, there are very few plants that can handle inspections for food and pharmaceutical applications.
